CS Lewis

I love to read!
One of the series i am just getting into is the Cosmic Trilogy by CS Lewis
Who knew he wrote science fiction?
I sure didn't!

'Out of the Silent Planet' is book one of three.

"Ransom was by now thoroughly frightened—not with the prosaic fright that a man suffers in a war, but with a heady, bounding kind of fear that was hardly distinguishable from his general excitement; he was poised on a sort of emotional watershed from which, he felt, he might at any moment pass into delirious terror or into an ecstasy of joy."
Chapter 3, p. 23.

Afternoon tea....

This is a beautiful Tea Room in Port Macquarie that i had afternoon tea in recently.
Wonderful to sit in the gorgeous rooms, enjoying lovely cups and sugar cubes, and delicious scones!

Shibuya- Tokyo

I was in Japan in 2007 and saw this wonderful sight of umbrellas as i left Shibuya on the train.
I regretted not taking a photo at the time, so thankfully there is google images so i can remember what it looked like!
